Hi, my name is Paul, i'm a bass player and live performer. Since 2001 i have performed almost 3000 shows all over Europe, most of as bassist for the american rock band Adam Bomb. I have also performed live with Steven Adler from Guns n Roses, and Micheal Monroe from Hanoi Rocks. I currently work with my band, Dobermann where i also sing lead.

Thanks for sharing this insight. Just saw Interpol for the first time playing in Berlin. Great band and I immediately loved the baselines. So great to see where it came from. Very inspiring Bass Player though.

The bass line in the chorus of Satisfaction is different than as played in the video. @ua-cam.com/video/kbdSG3rNWow/v-deo.html. The second note is on the two-and, not on the two. It's different from the guitar riff and that's what makes it swing.
I am so sorry to hear of the additional fuss and bother that Brexit has brought for European bands performing here in the UK. Truly the worst political decision my country have made collectively in living memory... which is saying a lot. Please continue to come and play music for us. It brightens up living on Tory island.

@@Howeverwhatabout Lmao no thanks, I'm actually fine not huffing on that particular brand of kush. I was never harmed by the imaginary oppression of the EU and as such feel nothing of benefit in the imaginary liberation from it. However, on at least a weekly basis I am given a reminder of things that have become harder, costlier, or less democratic as a result of Brexit. One, relatively minor, example arose as a result of this video: it has become harder for European bands to play in the UK and vice versa. This affects everyone from smaller bands (such as Paul's) to bands comprised entirely of multi-millionaires like Iron Maiden, whose Brexiteer frontman Bruce Dickinson has complained of the damage caused by Brexit. I'm not in the slightest interested in 'educating myself' about your fantasies. It would be an abject waste of my time.
